On November 21, 2023, 188bet officially appointed Mr. Nguyen Van Ban as the CEO, according to Resolution No. 27/2023/NQ-HĐQT of the Board of Directors. This appointment is part of the high-level leadership restructuring plan aimed at achieving strong growth in line with the Group’s long-term strategic direction.
The appointment ceremony of the new CEO was held solemnly at the Group’s headquarters with the participation of the Chairman, the Board of Directors, 188bet’s Management Board, and various CEOs. The event was also live-streamed to offices to allow all employees to watch.
In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Van Ban expressed, “For me, the trust of the Board of Directors is both a source of pride and a pressure to continue achieving the set goals. With my experience and the support of the leadership and all employees, I will strive to develop strategies to ensure 188bet continues to grow strongly.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Ban joined 188bet on January 3, 2023. Before being appointed CEO, he served as Deputy CEO, overseeing the Accounting, Capital & Financial Investment, Legal, Business Planning, and Subsidiary Management Departments. With over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, auditing, valuation, and investment consulting, and having held management positions in large enterprises, the Board of Directors trusts that Mr. Nguyen Van Ban will help achieve the goal of making 188bet a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate with leading brands in essential goods by 2027.
